Sophie Home: the London brand that started in a living room
Sophie Home began in 2013, in the corner of Sophie McNiven's living room in London, with a small run of throws, cushions and shower curtains and one clear intention: to put more colour into people's lives.
More than a decade later the cotton knit designs are in hundreds of independent shops, but the way they're made hasn't changed. Each piece is brought to life by the same dedicated team of women at a manufacturer in India, in Oeko-Tex certified cotton, with very little waste - because that's simply how knit and weave work.
The baby cuddle cloths are the brand in miniature: soft knitted cotton with a terry body, a biodegradable filling, and an embroidered little face - small enough for tiny hands, soft enough to become the favourite. Safe from birth.
And kindness runs through it: 5% of annual profits go to Choose Love, supporting refugees and displaced people.
Colour, comfort and care, knitted in. That's Sophie Home.
