Lost iN: city guides written by local chefs, designers, editors, gallerists.
Founded in Berlin in 2014, Lost iN started from a simple frustration with the way travel guides are usually written - all rankings, statistics and "hidden gems" that stopped being hidden years ago.
So they asked the people who actually shape a city's feel: chefs, designers, editors, gallerists. The result reads less like a checklist and more like a character study.
No best-ofs. No obvious squares. Just personal recommendations, long-form interviews and a few good stories - the kind of guide that sends you down a side street instead of to the monument everyone already photographs. The Europe edition gathers 25 cities across 250 pages, each with a personality of its own.
A guide for people who travel to experience a city, not to photograph it.
