Studio Shorimoma: where sculpture holds flowers
Moritz Stürmer trained as a carpenter before studying craft design at the Akademie für Handwerksdesign in Aachen — where he also earned his master craftsman title. Since early 2025, he runs Studio Shorimoma from Berlin, entirely independently.
The studio sits at the intersection of traditional craft and digital fabrication — not as a concept, but as a working method. Moritz treats the two as equals, letting them push and shape each other. The objects that come out have a quiet authority: reduced forms, considered proportions, built to last.
The collections span 3D-printed vases, original linocut prints, and accessories. Everything is produced in-house, from sustainable materials, without excess.
