Printworks: the Swedish joy of the analogue

Printworks: the Swedish joy of the analogue

Printworks was founded in Stockholm in 2017 by Annette and Patrik, who left their advertising careers after noticing something: the more connected everyone got, the less time they seemed to actually spend together. So they built a brand around the joy of the analogue.

They call it functional decoration - photo albums you flip through instead of scrolling, board games that pull people back to the table, and the tool kits hidden inside book-like boxes: cheese, cocktails, sushi, oysters, even a matcha set made with Cafe Kitsune.

Each one is Scandinavian to the core - clean, considered, and quietly good-looking enough to leave on a shelf. The kind of object that turns a Friday night into something closer to an occasion.

Made to bring people back together. Phones optional. Ideally absent.
