Nahe: the Japanese brand that packs light and stays out of the way

Nahe is a travel line by Hightide, a Japanese brand founded in Fukuoka in 1994. The name Hightide refers to the feeling of being full - spiritually satisfied, settled. It sounds abstract until you hold one of their products and realise that something about it just works.

Hightide has built its reputation over decades on stationery and everyday carry objects: things you use every day, made carefully enough that you stop noticing them. Nahe carries that same thinking into travel. Pouches, sleeves and cases designed to disappear into your bag and reappear exactly when you need them.

The sustainability argument here is simple: when something is well-made and well-considered, you don't replace it. You just keep using it. That's a quieter kind of sustainability than recycled materials and carbon offsets, but it's real. Less bought, less thrown away.

Good objects, made to last.
